I caught a DNR tagged redfish once at Breech Inlet. Later that day we fished at Folly Pier, and I cleaned all our catch at the pier. Some scumbag snatched the DNR tag off my fish when I walked 40 feet away to help my nephew land a fish. When I got back, the tag was cut. Whoever did it was fast as heck and “nobody” saw anything.
Wow do you really need a t shirt that bad? Smh. Nothing surprises me thouh

very cool!
matt, that’s just horrible. too bad you didn’t record the number earlier, could’ve busted him when he called for his shirt!
the last tagged fish i caught was a 9" sheepshead in november, and i caught it two weeks in a row on the same dock. it had been tagged two weeks prior to our first encounter at that same spot (based on tagging report)- must’ve had a sore mouth…
Thats funny. Capt. Mike Waller (Saltfisher) has caught the same tagged fish (sheep) on the same dock twice in the same session! I think he has done this more than once!

Was ice fishing in Wisconsin a few years back and had a nice northern pike eat two baits on the same pass. I was sitting in a lawn chair on the ice, having a very cold beer and cigar when one of my tip ups went up. As I was jogging over to it, another about 30 feet away went up. When I got the pike up through the hole, he had both hooks in his mouth from my two tip ups. Made a real pig of himself.
