Unfortunately missed barf but was able to make it out Sun. for early a.m. low. On the water at 4:30 a.m. and made a beeline to a lowtide flat. Was on the flat by 5 and it sounded like hogs at a feeding trough. Not long after I could make out the back of a fish sticking out of the water about 15’ away. Casted and hit him but he did’nt spook he was pissed, inhaled my bait and was off. Landed a nice fish > 30" but lost 3 others before the tide was up. Action was over by 7 as the tide was too high. Picked up 6 trout on the paddle back to the truck and was driving home by 10:30. Nice morning but frustrating to go 1 for 4. Maybe tomorrow will be better. All fish caught on gulp shrimp in the Kiawah/Capt. Sam’s area in 8" of water or less(except trout).
