anyone seen or heard of any schooling on the lake lately?
you need to be out there. they’ve been schooling since late August, all over the lake, all parts of the day. mainly small fish, some keeper schools.
hey dernflatlander…I need to go fishing…you been going any??? Having any luck… I may have to take my bass boat and chase the schools…What are they using (artifical) to catch fish??? I haven’t been since the last time we went…it’s been a long summer…

Carl, Good to hear from ya! How’s the hand? I was just tellin’ Elizabeth the other day that I need to give ya a holler. I’ve been catching most of the schoolers on an x-rap and better fish drifting down rods. I’m gonna have a bucktail-icefly rigged next trip to get a little deeper in the school and maybe get better size fish. Give me a call and we’ll figure out a day to go.

they were schooling at the north end of bufcrk yesterday…no takers on some sideway-swimming bb from big birds.only 1 short strike on a small spinner
