Scientists have lost Mary Lee

Note the part about the distinctive bite mark, in case someone spots her. Following her was cool.

That’s how cats do.

She sure was fun to keep track of. I believe she has taught us all a ton about Great Whites. I know I don’t jump out the boat and swim around Otter Island anymore.

I remember a few pings that got mysteriously deleted and then changed in the Charleston area. If one big girl is in our area, it only stands reasoning that many more are out there! I guess something has to keep the dolphin population in check.

I shark fish and follow this stuff and I’ve read up and studied a lot on the subject. All the sharks that had tracks on records that were being tracked off sc coast and in the last few years I followed the tracks that were supposed to be permanently posted on there site changed drastically. Yes I’m positive because I was using this info to target and achieve my goal of catching a large tiger shark. I marked a spot that several crossed closely to in the last few years and went to update my file a year later and the entire thing was changed and there was no longer any tracks over this spot. I can’t confirm this but another person was doing similar studies based off there info and noticed similar things and said he looked into it and they told him the data was lost and had to be restored and that it may not be accurate or the previous data was inaccurate. I also can’t confirm this but another person also said they have accedentaly killed majority of the white sharks they tag and try to cover it up. If you watch the videos of them handling the sharks they edit them a ton and most look in horrible condition when released. If you look into it there is a lot of negatives that follow them.

I 100% saw a great white this year with its fin bitten that was around Marty’s size and a few other giant sharks in the same area. I’ve fished this area and never seen big shark likes this I reported it to the dnr shark guy that fished with people I used to fish with.
His name is Nick Weber and I told him to tell his boss and relay the message to some one with more knowledge and reach since he was limited in both. He didn’t take me serious. It was up on the surface so I could see its back and tail fin. 100 % not a tiger or hammer it was a great white. The darkest largest shark I’ve seen in person and had the tail identification features of a great white. Was it a great white yes, did it have a mauled fin yes, was it marry lee it seems very likely. This was before August because I quit fishing with them ear

there's a reason DNR didn't take you seriously.... Perhaps they read any of your posts here and decided you wuzn't all dat brite.

That’s cold. So much for peace on Earth, good will to men.

Marty is not gonna like this…

The Morris Island Lighthouse www.savethelight.org

The guy above my post says they deleted and changed there points the same as I did. Your a joke, your always on here saying something stupid to me, that’s cool when its about nonsense but when you act like you know facts it just makes you seem pathetic. Take 10 minutes to look into it and you will see what I said is true. There are lots of people who disapprove of the methods. The only people who think they do great work are the ones who go cool a great white and that’s as far as there understanding goes. A 2000lb animal that is used to the seawater supporting its organs lifted on a plank definetly experiences internal trauma. Great whites have to move to breath and they hold them still and flush them with water. Have you seen the j hooks they use, have you heard about how Chip from outcast feels about teaching them about the large sharks in our water. They didn’t know what local fishers know and glorified thereselfs off others work, time and time again . Your 1 of those guys that let hate block your view. You want me to be wrong so much that you just argue to argue and you don’t even have a shot a proving me wrong so you go to disrespect and insults. I didn’t ever claim to know anything more than anybody I simply stated that they only release what makes them look good. Its how they keep their funding. I do know I know more than you on this subject because you know nothing about it. When you speak on something you don’t know and vouch for someone or someone you don’t it just lets me know what your agenda is and who you are as a person. Your bitter as hell for nothing. As usuall your post is nothing to do with the subject and its all about your distain for me. Your just a common hater. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything of value in your post. I give credit where credit is do and you are a first class jackace. Thanks for showing it time and time again. My buddy reported the washed up great white at the lighthouse for days before the DNR would check it out but I guess they were right it wasn’

I do know I know more than you on this subject because you know nothing about it and proved it. That DNR guy didn’t know a 10th of the stuff I knew and could barely identify a black tip, at least 50% of the time he couldn’t idea the sharks and there is like 10 sharks you catch in our waters. He also knew nothing about our ecosytem in general. When you speak on something you don’t know and vouch for someone you don’t it just lets me know what your agenda is and who you are as a person. I got you. Again trying to put words in my mouth or twist them. I said I knew more then the Nick Weber guy he didn’t know much at all.

You’re not making the great points you think you are.

Re-read, take a deep breath, then make a grown up response.

We’ll wait here.

Oh boy, getting the popcorn ready.
On a serious note, 40, you might not want to post someone’s personal info, even if, it is public info.

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
