He keeps deleting my negative, non fishing related posts… why can I not talk trash about thier site ON thei site… GUYS USE your BRAIN… I am not the only moderator… no one wants you talking negative on our site… OF COURSE they (directors and moderators) are going to delete it…
Seriously… if you do not like SCKF, don’t log on… its that simple… I am not in this for money… so I do not need any jokers who cause problems…

Sorry bout the profanity…BTW that post would have stayed on SCKF… It says nothing about the way Charleston Fishing and its directors are running things… Also if it did and it got yanked, I would understand cause it is their site and their rules…
Mud, Sorry it is petty for you. That’s pretty selfish though. It is not all for you. Most people log on to one get some info on kayak fishing, and to leave a little for the future of the sport.
This forum is wonderful, and a great resource for fishermen. We all start with no posts and rely on the already experienced fishermen to share with the newbies and create some sort of friendship to keep coming back. Although it is great for you Charleston guys, it does little for the warmwater fishermen or river fishermen in other parts of the state who want to fish from a Kayak. That is why SCKF and SC River Fishing are here and successful.
Mud, You are exactly correct… I am a nice guy! I don’t have a mean bone in my body… Always been a level headed listener and don’t like conflicts…Its how I got into this mess… Some at SCKF want to ban Murray and here I am two months later still trying to come up with something to keep him around… The vote is the last chance. Murray wanted the members to decide things. BTW, I have not voted…
Hope we can move on and put this behind us, and fish together sometime.
Hopefully for me this will be my last post about it:stuck_out_tongue:

No, I’m not selfish, my wording may of been off? What my thought was…this site is a one stop shop kind of thing for me. I do visit other sites too, but I just don’t have the time to keep up with them. For instance, I should be on the road now(meeting up with cutmullet) but I’m not…because I’m on this stupid “puter”…Let’s go a fishin!

A light bulb went off today… We as a club cannot punish you for posting up negative things… There are no forum rules that were ever established…
I personally am sorry. This fishing forum had a Days of Our Lives moment… and needs to get re focused.
Here is a post on the subject…
I got home from church,put the kids to nap and set out for a local pond to do some fly fishing… Nothing but me, the water, and the rod…no fish BUT I had a great time thinking of all you guys, the forum, and this situation.
I realized that Murray, Mudroc, and all others that have been getting their posts deleted and thrust in to this banning vote, may have been treated a unfair, and it leads to my lack of up front organization with this forum.
As all of you may know I started SCKF in March with little long term plan on the horizon… I really thought we might would have 50 members by now…WOW what growth we had quickly and now I sit back and look at it, we never once developed forum rules and regulations and I for one have been known to Hijack a thread and totally change the subject. While Murray and others have made posts questioning the board and their actions and although they may have really ticked you off, he never knew that was illegal.
Others have complained that this site just does not have everything they want in a fishing forum and while it may be true due to our age, threads like this one will turn more people off from our club.
We need everyone, and their opinions to make this thing grow. With that we need a set of rules that guide us and make us a better organized forum. I and the directors will try to work this out in the next few weeks.
Murray, Mudroc, Yakonthefly, and others… I am sorry you may have gotten into something you did not intend to with your posting. I think most here should agree with me to delete this vote to ban Murray and lets move on. I don’t anyone to have pre conceived opinions about these guys due to this thread. I look forward to meeting you all at Lake
Wow, is all I got to say. Wish I could make it up to the lake, but am sure I will be fishing with ya’ll soon.
