Scotty's Ride for Water

I’m posting this to share one young boy’s heart with everyone. I know Scotty and his father, Steve, and was blown away when I heard about this. I found out at 5am on a school day to find him and his father running on a treadmill in the gym. I got a chance to talk with Scotty after he was done, to hear his story, and to see his heart. So, please take a moment to click on the link and consider what he is doing, why he is doing it and who he is doing it for. Anything you can do to help will not only strengthen the effort to reach his goal, but to motivate this young boy even more in life. These are the children that we want to become leaders of our schools, ball teams, the country, and husbands to our daughters. So, even if you are unsure about the goal, by supporting the mission you will only help build the fire that burns in this boy’s heart. If anyone has any questions about this, feel free to contact me, Andy Hubler, at 843-345-4285.

And, I’m not sure yet how I will do it, but planning on doing some sort of fishing trip with me or with a charter captain to say “thank you” for those who help out. Again, I’m just trying to help this young boy and his cause out. I am gaining nothing, but the privilege of knowing and helping him.

That’s pretty awesome that he’s doing that. WMI is a great organization doing great things.

Keep spreading the word, please. It’s helping!

Just an update after I stopped by to visit Scotty today. He’s raised almost $9800. It’s amazing what he has done, but he’s still short of his goal. So, re-read his letter, search your heart, and dig into your couches, your pockets and help him out if you can. Anything will help. Skip the super size at McDonald’s and give it him that 49c, really.

For all those that have spread the word and helped out, THANKS!

Scotty is up to almost $12,000. An anonymous donor called 2 weeks ago and told him that he would match whatever he raised! Please continue to share this with others. This is the kinda news that we should be sharing, not the crud we see at 6pm every night.
