Scratching my head

This same conversation was had on THT.com two months ago about last years dolphin fishery in FL. All crying that mahi were overfished, we need stricter regulations blah blah blah. Now those very people are admitting they were idiots as they are covered up in Dolphin this year. Some people need to chill out and realize that there will be good years and bad. Maybe its cyclical, maybe its climate, maybe its migration. But having a bad year of fishing doesn’t make you a scientist. If you don’t catch fish one year and want to cry about it then quit fishing and save your “expert” opinion for someone else.

I just wanted to clarify I was the one who mentioned overfishing first in this thread. I’ve been out twice this year and put over 20 in the boat both times. I still believe that a fish that grows over fifty lbs shouldn’t have a minimum size limit of 20 inches. Y’all do realize you can keep redfish that big.
