SCSSA Camp Happy Days Harbor Cruise

We’ll be hosting our annual Camp Happy Days harbor cruise and cookout on July 18th. Last year we had well over a hundred of the kids and their families join us. We’re hoping for a bigger turnout this year; it took 11 boats to be able to make it happen. St. Johns Yacht Harbor is again letting us use their facility. Jamie Westendorf is lined up to do the catering for us again as well.
If you’re interested in helping out, sponsoring, or volunteering your boat, please send us a PM.

We will do early registration for the sail tournament at the event to save those helping out some time

Good on you Captains for donating your time and gear. Wish i had some time off to help out.

Have a great time!

Looking forward to being there again this year

If you got time to lean, you got time to clean.

If anyone has a big boat and is willing to help, we REALLY could use it. We had a couple of boats drop due to mechanical issues and one had the dates crossed. Right now, we expect over a 100 people with campers and family members. Unfortunately, express boats don’t do us much good as many of the kids cant take the heat for too long in their condition.
If you can pitch in, it would be great. Contact Fran 709-5164.
Michael- tried you but haven’t heard back. Please drop a call to Fran if you see this.
Thanks all.

Thanks for organizing this Fran. I know the families on our boat had a blast.

Thanks to the captains and crews that made it possible. Boats that participated are Sadie Beth, Summer Girl, Reel Hooker, Risky Business, Be Right Back, Fin Allie!, Full Pull, and Briggs Custom 68. St Johns Yacht Harbor donated their facility for our use.

There were some very happy kids on board yesterday. Great job SCSSA and to esp to Fran!

Thanks to all that helped out…another big thank you to the boats and captains who donated their time, boats and fuel. Of course, Jamie Westendorff who cooked and donated all of the food. I just made phone calls, with some help from others…this would not have happened without the boats and the generosity of others, including St John’s Yacht Club…looking forward to next year.

Fran, you are a great asset to our community and sport.

Thanks to you, Kenneth and everyone else.
