Definitely neat video. The trick is called sensory overload where stimulus is applied to the ampullae of lorinzini (front of shark, the tiny holes). It puts the sharks into a kind of shock. I’ve seen videos of it being done to tiger sharks and VERY temporarily to GW’s as well. Not something I would try, which makes the video even cooler.
