Anyone on here use one for drift or bottom fishing? How do you like it and how easy is it to use? How much does it cut the drift speed down?

What sells said-plus they are useful if you get caught out in rough weather in water too deep to anchor and lose power. I always carry one when going offshore. Mine cost about $200, if memory serves.

i have thought about getting one for a while but just another thing to bring on a boat that isn’t big enough for everything!! a simple solution to this is bring an extra 5 gallon bucket and tie 2 or 3 together with a loop and a big clip going to mainline on boat - it will slow u down considerably and you prolly already have a bucket or two on the boat
