SEA Cabins...IOP

Hi all,
We are planning a trip to the Charleston area in Mid August. Looking to do some surf fishing and possibly a half day inshore charter. For a place to stay, we have been looking at Sea cabins on IOP. Has anybody stayed there or know anyone that stayed there that might be able to give an unbiased review of the place? Mainly looking for a clean somewhat quiet place to stay that is close to the water. Looks like sea cabins is in a good location as far as beachfront, but I am looking for info on how crowded and wild (as far as partying etc) it may be in the area.
Also, is the fishing any good from the pier at Sea cabins?

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

If you wait until the 2nd week of august I believe the rates go down, as well as the crowds The Sea Cabins are dated but still a nice place to stay right on the beach. You can walk to several places for food. One huge benefit to staying there is the pier that you and only other occupants can fish. The mullet run may be going on and all sorts of fish will be caught up in that…
