My combing bolsters are starting show some wear. Was considering replacing them with an EVA foam instead of traditional vinyl upholstery. I had priced Sea deck before and it was a bit more than I wanted to spend. Seems to me there is a local source for a similar product, but I cannot remember who it is that is doing them. Any ideas? I have used and like hydro turf before but need something thicker for the combings and ideally something that is made of two layered colors and CNC beveled cut.
I was faced with the same predicament for my boat. I decided to go with SeaDek. Yes there are alternatives but for me SeaDek was better than the rest. I’ll post pictures once they are installed.
There is a local SeaDek dealer/installer here in Charleston now. His shop is on Johns island.

I’ve been considering Seadek as well (helm pad and some for the front deck) but I’ve been seeing some negative reviews regarding issues with cleaning. Obviously they’re going to get dirty from regular use but one would think you’d be able to clean them.
No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.
Google “Garleck coaming blosters.” Tradional vinyl padded snap-on blosters in various lenghts.
