Sea Era Boats

Looking at a 16’ Sea Era boat. Looks to be in good shape, overall. I understand that they changed the name to Sea Fox and had some issues early on, or so I read one post on the interweb (THT) says. Does anyone have any experience with these boats? Thoughts/opinions? 1999 with a '99 Yamaha 60 on it.

its a renken boat
renken closed, the sons reopened made legacy’s, changed name to sea era, changed name to seafox
if the price is right, and it fits your need, go for it, just make sure the engine has good compression and spark.
its not a top tier boat, and its not priced like one either.

Own a 2005 Seafox 187CC and I love it. Powered with a 115 Merc and it scoots right along.
