Sea Hunt Ultra 225 Height Clearance???

Do any of you Sea Hunt owners know the height clearance of an Ultra 225 on the trailer? I don’t have the boat yet (I emphasize yet!) but I want to go ahead and build a pole barn tall enough to park it under. Thanks in advance for your input!

Not a Sea Hunt owner but DOT clearance is 13’ 6”. I built a pole barn at my last house for my boat set up with a T-top and I went ahead and made it 13’6” incase I ever bought a bigger boat. I knew no matter what I bought it would be DOT compliant or shorter and didn’t want to have to have to tear down and rebuild a barn because of a boat upgrade. I also made it about 8-feet longer incase I went bigger and that additional space was great for storing coolers, bumpers, etc… Just something to think about before building something that might only fit a specific rig.

On our trailers they are around 10’6"-11’. So if you went with 11.5-12 ft you should be fine.

I agree with contender1 I would go the max, I don’t believe there is a cost difference for the poles they would just cut them smaller for the 11’ height.

Pretty sure I used 20-foot 6x6s got about 7-feet in the ground with concrete, wind uplift is a big concern on a structure like this during a storm.
