What happened to their new boats?
I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost their affiliations because of their shotty customer service. That would be poetic justice.

That is a shame, years ago that was where my Granddad took his boat and he always got good service. You would think in this economy, people would bend over backwards to keep customers happy.
Last year I had asked Sea Island to give me a quote on installing a radio on my 18’ scout. I was surprised at how inexpensive their offer was and I told them to go ahead and do the work. Several weeks later, when I picked the boat up the bill was approximately $150 higher than I expected. When I mentioned to Mr. Cooler his earlier quote he said “did I say that?”. He then graciously made an $150 adjustment to the bill. I think that he honestly had made a mistake in quoting me, but had the interigty
to stand behind his word. I have taken my boat to Sea Island Marine for its annual service and hae always been well pleased with the service that I have received.
