Fished in the 200’s around 200’. Had Josh Schiffer from the Schiffer Law Firm, his brother Chris and their father. It was real slow today, but managed to catch 8 dolphin and a barricuda with several nice gaffers. My mate Skylar actually was bit by the barricuda! Back at it Thursday.
Had a fantastic time with Capt. Jeff and Skylar/Zac Efron (we shall not be showing his pic to the wives or we will need a bigger boat). Exactly what the Dr. ordered for a great time. Sweetly professional rigged boat (incorrect adverb?) and Skylar kept working full steam despite a nasty gash or three. Who would-a thunk sea-rats use those things for cutting and not grinding? Just kidding. He has a big future.
The water was just like they tell you about in the magazines and the weedline formed on command in the afternoon. Action was spotty but fierce when we hit the schools. We even had a triple hookup with two gaffers landed, about all the three of us could handle, skill level wise. Also had a mystery cutoff real early that I would internet estimate as a 90# Hoo or possible grander White. Maybe errant Warsaw. Dad really appreciated the fighting chair as he has a bionic knee from the civil war (just kidding Dad) and Skylar had a great touch with the man I am pre-destined to turn into. It was really important for me to bring out Dad and my Bro (a prison psych) as Dad brought us out like a religion when we were kids on vacation and my brother lives in scenic coastal Southern Minnesota, (where the fishing often involves sheds, snow, .410’s for the gnats and bats for the Musky’s).
Jeff was a pro with email communication, a plus for me, and worked hard on a beautiful day to be on the water. I will pass on his name to friends for sure.

Many thanks Josh! Had a great time with ya’ll as well. I’m really glad your dad got to reel in one of the bigger ones. Thanks again and look forward to having ya’ll in the future.
