Seabrook Island area

Hi
I will be staying on Seabrook the month of February and will have my flyrods with me. I will also have a SUP to use,and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anyone would like some company that would be great also.
Thanks

Lots of good fishing in the Captain Sam’s area and into the Kiawah river. Should be no problem to SUP to some flats by the bridge onto Kiawah. There’s also some good spots (or used to be) right there around the boat landing on Seabrook by the fire station.

I just moved Bohicket Creek Bait and Tackle from Bohicket Marina to Savannah Hwy, now South Side Bait and Tackle, but have been fishing Seabrook for almost 4 decades. You have a lot of choices but it depends where you are planning on going or putting in. Would love to chagt with you on your way…

Who is taking over the tackle shop at Bohicket?

suppin’ in February? hire a guide, some good ones there

The Ice Cream shop owner across the breezeway has the lease now, he is planning hermit crab races once a week, at least that is what I heard…

Thanks for replying. I was hoping to be in Seabrook on Sunday but with the storm coming in it looks like we won’t leave MA until then. Its been in the high 20’s here and the winds been honking. I’ve just got to find a little respite as I can only tie so many flies that I don’t need.

Hope to be there soon,

PS Does anything run the beaches the in the winter? ie Bluefish, Stripers, Shad.

Check your PMs. Good luck - I love Seabrook.

I know where my next vacation is going to be.
