Seabrook island

Im on vacation at Seabrook Island and been catching nothing but sharks off the beach…i went to the north beach of the island at capt. sam’s inlet theres a ton of bait and good current… whats the best to fish it…rigs, tides, and bait some guys said they caught some reds with mullet? any truth to that?

There is truth to that. I have caught reds, trout, rays, sharks, bluefish, whiting all from the Spit. Bring a cast net and a bait bucket. If your fishing from the shore a bottom rig with live bait has the potential to catch all of the above. I prefer low tide at the spit personally. The tide does rip through there so make sure you have enough weight on your rig. Best of luck
