Seafood (Boat) Stew

…cooler weather makes me crave “comfort food”…so decided to make some “boat stew”…basically what ever seafood you have on hand…had a few oysters I had shucked/some clams I had put in the freezer(chopped up) and some shrimp and fish(…heres the goods and the results…it is what it is and it sure was good…will taste even better tommorow when we warm it up after a day of fishing with my dad

cooking down the onion/pepper/garlic//celery/butts meat/olive oil/bay leaves…then added in potatoes then tomatoes/ adding a little clam juice as it cooks with salt and peer and seasonings as it cooks

while this was cooking down I had a little wine and some pickled shrimp I had made the night before…have you ever had it???..its good too and looks like this…

ok…back to cooking…placed these ingredients in bigger pan along with tomato sauce/some more diced tomatoes/remainder or clam juice and then added seafood ingredients in…at this point added in more creole seasoning and hot sauce with ground pepper to taste and turned down on low to simmer…

hush puppies
corn meal/little bit of bacon drippings/milk/egg/finely diced bell pepper/onion and some parmesan cheese…make into small balls and fry an

lol…bad thing is i have 7 or 8 complete sets of dishes and usually always use the same ones…if i pull out anything new donnie asks who’s coming for dinner…or better yet…"when did you get these. are they new"lol:smiley:
