I am looking at a 2002 20ft Seahunt, less than 100 hrs on a 2 stroke 150hp yamaha, no t-top. The boat has been stored outside for most of its life, the electonics need to be replaced and it is a single axle galvanized trailer. What would it be worth and is it worth taking a chance on?
Go by the tax office and they will give you the NADA “book” value on the boat/motor. BTW this info is FREE from the tax office.

I don’t know a lot about sea hunts but would expect that in 2002 they still used wood. If So need to check the floor and transom to ensure no rot.
Is the 150, the ox66 or the HDPI?
The ox66 has a reputation of being bulletproof. My dad has a 175, that can sit for 2 months and then fire on first try. It has been ridden hard and is still going strong.
Seems to be mixed opinions on the HDPI.
Corrosion and seals leaking are more of function of age than hours of use.

Very vague question. Model (navigator, 202, 200 ?), pictures, and asking price would help. Sold a 2004 Navigator this year for $8500 with a Johnson 150. In very good shape. Could of got more this time of year.

I am not sure of the model, I will get that today, he told me that it was 19ft 6" all composite, no wood.It is a very deep sided boat. The motor is just the standard 150hp, I am sure the carburetors will need to be cleaned and possibly new water pump kit. He told me he thought 7500 was a fair price, it did not sound bad to me, but, I wasn’t sure considering the age of it.

Or you could…
It does have the HDPI motor.
