Lost the gas cap on my 1996 SeaPro 180CC yesterday. I bought a Whitecap brand replacement cap from West Marine, but the threads didn’t mate up.
Does anyone know who makes the gas cap for this year SeaPro? Or who makes an aftermarket cap that will fit?

There have been guys on there before discussing lost gas caps before.
Hopefully you won’t have to replace the whole thing.
I have a 1999 and lost the cap a couple of years ago when the screw holding the retainer chain came loose. I couldn’t help but wonder how many others were sitting on the bottom at that gas dock! I just picked up the standard metal one by Perko at West Marine. It was identical and even had the exact same hole for the chain. I put a little thread lock on the screw for the chain before installing and holding well!
