has anyone owned a searay laguna? There is a good deal on a 1990 Searay laguna 24 walkaround with twin mercury mariners. Ive had a few searay sundancers in the past and have enjoyed them and they are well built/ well thought boats. but ive never owned or been on a laguna.

be careful, they have lots of wood in them, even in places below deck that you wouldn’t expect.
and by wood, I mean plain old painted plywood like you would see in the engine compartment of a stern drive.

thanks for the responses. i was already concerned about rot, and yall confirmed it. i may still go take a look at the boat, but im not in the mood for a project quite that big right now.

No clue why there are posts about wood rot. Or comments Laguna have a lot of wood in them.
The reality is there it little to no wood, come see mine or I can give you SeaRay build specs I used when restoring mine.That being said, its hard to find a Laguna for sale unless in bad shape.
