I’m in the market for a larger walk around to be able to push further offshore, but to also use in the lakes for the family. I know seasport is not a pursuit nor grady-white, but i found a 2000 SeaSport 2744wa that is in good shape and has a good trailer. I’m “balling-on-a-budget” right now so i cant afford a 50k-100k boat right now and im not ready to have payments on a boat yet. but im curious as to if anyone has any offshore experience with these boats? do they handle the chop? are they a wet ride? I’m looking for everyones “I’ve heard this” or “I’ve heard that”. Im fully aware they arent a top of the line boat. just looking for honest real life opinions\experiences. thanks for the input.
renken seamaster may have been one of the worst boats ever built. over the years I have actually seen several of them with the cap separated from the hull.
they still floated, im not sure how, but they did.
these were in the 20-21 foot range
did they actually make a 27’?
