Has anyone installed self adjusting trim tabs on their boat? Reviews? Thanks.
Do you mean SmartTabs?
I have some on my SeaPro. They work pretty well (Better than a whale tail) but the shocks do not last. They cost about $40 to replace, so not too bad.

I installed Bennett self adjusting trim tabs on my 18.5’ Kencraft Sea King center console about a year ago. They are great and completely transformed how the boat handled. They completely eliminate porpoising and allowed me to trim up at WOT and increase speed. They are slightly higher priced than Smart Tabs but are very well made and easy to install. Great investment and highly recommend! Also, really allowed the boat to get on plane MUCH quicker.
I have the Nauticus SX9510-80 Smart Tab SX Series Trim Tabs.
They work pretty good for what they are.
Purchased in April 2012 and have replaced 3 shocks so far all under warranty which I believe is 2 years. The last time I talked to them they sent me 2 shocks instead of just one. I feel I am now on borrowed time as they are scheduled to fail by the end of the fall.
A new set of bennett tabs are sitting in my wishlist.
I second the Bennett Self Adjusting Trim Tabs.
I installed in my 14’ Mckee and it is night and day.
Definitely recommend.
I have had Bennet’s non self adjusting on my Sea Hunt Triton 202 since 2005.
Very durable-still use original shocks-tough tabs!
