Sell or trade jon boat for Yak

Good morning All,
I am looking for some info or advice about getting into yak fishing. I have a 14’ Alumacraft jon boat with a 15hp 4 stroke mariner that I would like to sell or possible trade for a kayak or two, depending what I can get for it. It was given to me by my father and I just don’t use it enough. Is there a Kayak dealer around that would take it for a trade? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

What kinda condition is the boat in and does it have a trailer? I have a Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler Edition i might be willing to offer in trade plus cash.

I would say in good condition. My father had it in the water to check his crab pots in Va, so it does have some wear and crustation (sp), but runs good the motor is a 98’. I will send you some pics if you would like.

This is new to me, but just something to fish from. Maybe something with outriggers, tuna tower and the wife says she needs a sundeck with an optional ski package, got anything like that? Just kidding (maybe), but basically a fishing yak.

Haven’t sold the boat yet, I tried today, but as my luck would have it there is gas coming out of the top of the carb, so until I figure out the problem I will hold onto it. I am thinking that it is a stuck needle or float, but if there is anybody that knows anything about mariner outbaords, all advice or suggestions will be greatly apprecited.
