1988 Winner Sport Cuddy 2280. Details and more photos in Craigslist advertisement. Only selling because work is taking me away from the coast in the coming months.
"Here we go fellas, time to sell the family boat. I’ve made a lot of memories on this boat over the past 5 years I’ve owned it, but work is taking me away from the coast, and it’s time to sell. Have been offshore many times trolling and bottom fishing with this boat with plenty of success. It has been a great boat and has never left me stranded. This boat has been to Georgetown hole, the ledge, 226, etc… and all over the bottom spots out of Charleston. My typical day will burn 80-120 gallons offshore.
Sorry for the lengthy post below, I just figured I’d put as much info as possible in the ad.

Had a couple people look and ask questions, but as of right now its still for sale. Most common concerns were where to get parts for nissans and who works on nissans. Nissans are very simple motors, and almost any backyard mechanic can change a water pump or spark plug in it. If you are so inclined though, Jim at Fathom That Marine on Highway 78 is a Nissan dealer/servicer. He also happens to be an incredibly nice person, and charge extraordinarily reasonable rates. He can get any part available. I havent had him service my nissans very much except for when i first bought it, but he does a good job. I have found that boats.net has any and all parts for nissan/tohatsu motors as well.
The hull is solid. As part of the all fiberglass grillage/stringer construction there are four stringers that run the length of the boat. The middle two are almost 8" tall and 4.5" wide. The others are the full height of the bilge and are slightly narrower (maybe 3-3.5", hard to measure because they are full height). Attached a couple pictures of the middle stringer construction.
What do you think the price should be? I just tried to compare to similar boats on craigslist and put up a price in the same neighborhood. Boats below are comparable, some priced less than mine, some more. Some are worth more, some aren’t. Its an asking price not a selling price, and it’s negotiable. I challenge you to find a boat with running condition twins, working electronics, and an aluminum dual axle trailer on it for cheaper.
