Coming back from Georgetown yesterday finally stopped by the store. One of the best sea food markets I’ve been in. Sell’s you’ve got a young man that was “pushy” selling but more pushing on describing the varieties of fish with sincere informative vigor! Cut that dude off a chunk of grouper for a bonus. He went on to explain your various fishing rigs and a quick how-to. When I made my selection a lady you have working there also explained what I was getting and also gave an excellent suggestion on preparation… don’t fry!
I didn’t, used the chef Pauls red fish magic stuff the young man suggested that you had there.
I’ll be back when I’m in the area. Hope the Truth in Sea Food information act goes through. That will be nothing but a plus for your business.
I think you need to let that young man (John I believe?) start cooking some samples for us.
Paul definitely runs one of the best seafood stores I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been in a lot of them all over the country. Allways fresh smelling in the store and spotless and great advice as well.

The first time I was in there I wanted to dive into all that fresh seafood he had on ice: fish, clams, crab legs… It smelled fantastic! But due to health regulations I decided not to. (and the fact that sells would have turned me into a pretzel).
No doubt the cleanest smelling and looking fish market I’ve been in. Love the smell of fresh seafood. If it would have been borderline the attitude would have put it over the top.
Hope our weather improves so our locals can get out and catch a big mess to sell!
HOGFISH… how many places have HogFish? How many will bend over backwards to help you get what you want and filet it up right there in the store pronto?
I picked up some fresh haddock a couple weeks ago and loved it. Fresh haddock is hard to beat, has a buttery flavor all by itself (leave the skin ON, don’t skin it).
Moral judgment under girds the entire structure of laws and is necessary for the rational structure of any significant statute. The idea that our laws can stand independent of moral foundation is senseless.----- Albert Mohler.
