Any one tried senko rigs for redfish?
Yes, and they work.
One of my good bass fishing friends calls the Trout Trick the saltwater Senko, says they are the catch all. And I agree.

Just gotta find the right color. Senko will catch all if you can afford to keep them in inventory.
Stump, thats funny about the TT. And completely agree.
Anything you’d use for largemouth bass fishing you can use for reds or trout.
True Senkos are fragile and expensive, a cheaper alternative is the Yum Dinger, a longer lasting option is a Zman Zinkerz or Fatty.
The whole Trout Trick thing is a bit overblown. Yes, you can catch fish with them. But most people don’t know that the TT started life as a Gambler bait called either the Stud or Super Stud. It was discontinued several years ago. They’ve now reintroduced it in a 4" length, called the Shaky Shad, IIRC.

TX Rig or on a shakey head with a screw lock. Check out the new Eye Strike TX Rig swinging jig head with the 5/0 EWG that you can “Texpose” in the bait. It is an ideal set up for reds and I used it yesterday on bass up in the cooper river. It’s 100% weedless and doesn’t snag up too bad around oysters either but can get hung (hey, it’s a jig head). Great bait combo however. I like 1/8 to 3/16 for a full 5" Senko as the bait has so much salt it weighs plenty on its own. I’d steer away from wacky due to current and super slow fall rate unless you are in dirt shallow water or at slack tide. Good luck.
