I am updating the original post to show that trolling is OK too. After thinking about it, I don’t see any reason not to. When I originally made that stipulation I was thinking about last fall’s get together, but that was different as it was artificials only and with trolling permitted, it allowed trolling U-Rigs while others casted lures and/or jigged spoons.
Since we can use bait this time as well, there’s no reason to keep anyone from trolling if they prefer. I don’t think “real” tx’s disallow trolling?, so probably no reason to for our $6/person prize money 
It also might get a few more boats in if anyone is considering it, but doesn’t have a bait tank.

Cool…wouldn’t be the same without you guys fishing together for what may be Tom’s last time here for one of our tx’s.
We cancelled last night due to the storms, but tonight is looking good. No time to get bait, but I still got the boat ready, so I will give it a try trolling after dark.
According to my calculations, it should be good!

Trolled earlier and the fishing was very good. May have finally picked a good day if things hold up. The goal for this one is to have everyone entered have a fish to weigh in.
Lots of fish suspended in the big water when I went out and eager to bite. Couldn’t keep both downriggers in the water. I’ll post a report tomorrow.

I just called Richard and confirmed he will be there. I’m pretty sure David will be there as well, but I don’t have a number for him to confirm.

Bob I will shoot you some gps numbers where I fished this past saturday. Fishing was pretty good quality wise. All couple turns off the bottom in 50-55’ of water. Only 8 fish but smallest was 24 biggest 28. Had 6 other boats within 50yrds of me. None caught a single fish but I was the only one drumming and chumming.
