any advice welcome…
Have an 80’s Ben Pearson compound bow.
Planning on getting set up right after christmas and heading out in january with a buddy on Lake Marion for some cats in the shallows.
i used to bowfish in murray as a teenager and found a big ol zebco 33 to be much more efficent and troublefree than any other reel. practice, or at least understand that the fish is not exactly where it seems and have at em. I eventually also started using a heavy recurve for the quicker shot times. it was hella fun but my liver couldnt take too much of it.
