Thinking about driving up the cooper to try the shad by the dam next week. Just wondering how you guys think I would do.

Not sure about now, but Monday and Friday of last week, we wore them out.

Fished mon. an half day Tues. 14 roe and to many bucks to count. Also all the herring for bait you want

i tried in the middle with a sabiki last time and wore out the herring and got plenty of shad on the gold hooks, but 1 of the gold hooks broke off and i replaced it with a chart jig and my shad catching rate went way up. couldnt count all my herring but i had a few triples, a quad, shad + 2 herring a couple times, and made someones evening giving them a 20" roe. no takes on the catfish rod but shad/herring are definately there!
