Thinking about going up to the tailrace tomorrow. I am new to shad fishing so if anyone has any pointers please chime in. If anyone wants to go let me know. I would be willing to trade a salt trip for someone to show me the ropes on shad. Is there a landing still off 402?

yea, go to the landing near the 52 bridge. the best advice is stay to the right side of the canal, it seems to pay off the best, and worked for me the other day. chartruce is a great color.
