I had two in my cast net 3 weeks ago - upper ashley. You know they were not alone.

If all goes well we’ll be on the tail race the 16th. Let ya know! Valentines day for cutting roses back and shad fishing, dogwoods blooming for cobia, the May full moon for Bream, and the rut for Red fish and trout! It’ll get you close.

Crossed over the Tail race Yesterday and no boats on the water.

They are catching them in gill nets on the edisto above hwy 61, so they should be in the tail race pretty thick.

There have been a lot of good reports from the Cooper tailrace and the Rediversion since mid-January. Another mild winter plus lots of water released = early 'murican shad. Haven’t heard any reports, but I’m sure they’re around Wilson dam by now. Get on em!

Went two weeks ago to wilson’s and caught 0. I have caught them in the middle of january therebefore. Headed there Saturday. I like to go catch them early before thousands of people start going, then start on the crappie on the lake.

just helped a friend make another anchor (had two stolen over the weekend:roll_eyes:). Not sure but they may be between Willtown and Jacksonboro. :wink:

Due to the rain, visibility was only around 10 inches. We didn’t catch a fish. Talked to a netter we know who has been catching some bucks and smaller roes for about two weeks. Going again next week.
