Well I went based of murrymakers info. No hereing or shad action at the tail race this morning. I only saw 2 shad caught. Talked to a couple boats who herring fished and they got notta. 1 guy said he saw a few fish pop but didn’t think it was herring. I would wait for the action to heat up more or try anther spot

Watched the line thin out and rotate only 2 caught were on the opposite side.

I was on the other side of that red boat from 6:15-11:30. Caughtnone hereing all morning. The guys in the little John boat caught 3 or 4. Those were the only fish I saw caught in the 5 hours I was there.
looks like i SHOULD be able to make a trip again this year in about 2 weeks with location to be determined based on results leading up to when i show up. not opposed to paddling up tailrace and will bring extra trash bags if i decide on wilsons.
Did they run water today? I went yesterday and they never ran any water, couple guys called the # to check if they were going to run and it said business as usual. No water usually means no fish, sure did yesterday.
You can’t catch fish on a dry line
They didn’t run it all morning today. Not sure what happened after I left.
I just did a shad report in the report section. Accurate and recent information.

Did really good. Got down from Columbia around 10 fished till 130ish…caught around 180ish…packed all of them in a 175gal tank (that’s a little tight).
Did a few water changes and salted them down for the ride home…
Made it home with a few casualties. Put 160 in the home tank… Time to pull some striper candy!!
