Fished on a friends boat, “Little Feller” a sweet 29 Sea Hunt so I got to be a crewmember rather than captain for a change. Left a little late and had a bumpy ride south out of Edisto. Fairly slow day but still caught fish, just not the numbers we have logged lately. (Thats why its fishing not catching). Found some broken weeds out deep but hard to troll and keep the baits clean so we moved inshore and picked up a few more fish. Even though we didnt hammer them, it was a great day on the ocean with a boatful of buddies. Had Tom’s son Parker on the boat and he got to reel in a peanut which made everyones trip. Hard to say what was hot but the Pink seawitch and the gamecock islander got more love from the fish than anything else. Hopefully back on the Shady Lady next week weather permitting.
