Does shakespear still have their sale each year at the columbia fairgrounds? I used to go every year and got some incredible deals. That was over 20 years ago though. It was a mad dash to get stuff. People would show up with 55 gallon drums strapped to a dolly and would stuff them full of rods.
I haven’t heard about it in several years but that doesn’t mean they stopped doing it. Shakespeare is owned by Pure Fishing and they have made a bunch of changes since. I had a friend that worked there but got let go in a “reorg” a few years ago.

They no longer do it. I believe it stopped when Pure Fishing took over.
