Hey guys I have a question, I made some shallow water anchors last year, they hold up really well to the salt, they hold great in any current, and they are versatile from rocky bottom to pluff mud. I was curious to what you would be willing to pay for them, considering cajun anchors sell for 100+ what would be an acceptabe price to sell them at. I will post pictures, but im currently working on a second style anchor. I use mine all the time, as matter of fact will not leave with out it, and absolutely refuse to use my danforth.

I’m interested. Not sure what I would pay considering I have no idea what you have made. Post some pictures.

well for up to a 17 or 18’ boat (2) 8 ft galv ground rods with some shackles and some rope don’t add up to more then 50$…just putting that out there…mine have lasted over a year so far

$35 tops for a fiberglass pole. I made about 5 the other day for less than $20.

FFR…what you’re making works well. I’ve made one myself for our 17ft and it holds much better than one would think. It holds so well in fact, that sometimes it’s a real PIA to pull out! But, I think that your price is a little high. I made mine for around $12.
don’t see where he put a price…

i didn’t put a price I posted what C.Angler sells cajun anchors for. The prices a few of you posted were what I was thinking, just thinking about selling a few around the area, puts some extra cash in my pocket and helps local anglers not spend a hundred bucks for something thats a single “oops” from being lost for ever in these inshore waters. I have two different versions one is 3/4 aluminum coated steel only rusts where you put a point on it, which is minimal. stainless shackle, with rope. Its easy but some people like to just buy things not make it for themselves. I just need to figure out if its cost effective for me to sell first. Im testing a new style anchor soon, that will be rubber coated and a lil shorter, the current anchor is about 4’ tall. I had to back mine out with my boat the other day cause the sand packed around it. I have also used this anchor at the jetties.
