Fished the upper lake today, and went up the Little Saluda and ran up on the mud bar on the left hand side at the third bend. was running about 45 in my Glassmaster when we hit it and slid for about 50 feet before we stopped. Could not budge it with an orr and had to strip down and go overboard and push. we finely found some deeper water after about 30 min. The water was 52.5 deg. and quite cool to our bare feet and legs! Hope not to many people saw us in our underware. We did catch a limit of fish and a lot of shorts both on bucktails and shiners.
Is that the one right after the mouth of clouds creek? Not paying attention a couple weeks ago and hit part of it. there is also a stump barly sticking out of the water around there as well. stay WAY on the right through there going up…
