After shopping around for shallow water anchor systems, I finally purchased some from Shallow Water Solutions out of Florida. The brackets are made from a composite material and are a bit bulky, but seem to be strong. I have them installed now and will report on how they work.
The SWS system was $200 shipped to my door with SS hardware for two brackets and two 8’ pins. Dig-in brand was going to run over $600 for the same set-up.
A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.
