Boat typically burns about 30 gallons of 80 gal tank running from I.O.P. to Y-73 / Garden + full day trolling & / or bottom fishing. Inshore days use much less gas. Split cost of gas, bait & ice. All the fish – Half the cost. Downside is small boats must pick our offshore days carefully; so short notice & some weekdays. Safety first.
