My shark group has made some bulk leaders and realized we don’t need this much terminal tackle. Offering up some of the extras for sale to members of a few of the communities we are a part of.
Note: we have also caught our big red drum on this same setup, so they were not leader shy. We did have 4oz sputniks attached to them so we could hang the eye of the hook on the sputnik leg to reduce air drag while casting.
These rigs are 2 3’ sections of 270lb vinyl coated stainless steel cable. This is so that you only have to cast a 3’ leader and when a fish is hooked the mainline is attached to the swivel on the sinker line which pulls tight to make a 6’ leader to avoid skin abrasion.
