Hey guys,

I have been researching this site for years with great ■■■■■■■■ and help on improving and enjoying my fishing. Figured I could get started by returning the favor and helping other new members as well with my 2 cents. However, I am taking a friend from out of town who is really wanting to catch some small sharks. I have the gear, but just wondering if you guys tend to use squid over mullet? Im assuming just find a drop-off off the wando and it should hold sharks. Any advice appreciated!

I would try the south side of Castle Pinckney. Set up near the rip and pitch out chunks of crab or some bloody cut up fish. The sharks may not be small though :slight_smile: I honestly haven’t seen much for sharks in the Cooper or Wando. I don’t know why not however…Any one care to comment? Salinity maybe?

The end of drum island holds sharks near the marker. Used to be an unbelievable bluefish and Jack spot but havent seen anything besides sharpnose there in years
