Was thinking about going shark fishing in the next couple of weeks and normally we just get behind the commercial shrimp boats, but was wondering if anybody could help out with some other tips or general ideas of other good spots.
The shrimp boats won’t be there until june this year. Go to the near shore reef (3 miles out) and put out a chum slick of fresh menhaden (can be netted in front of Morris Island) fish live menhaden in the slick and you will catch sharks. We released 5 scalloped hammerheads two days ago while hunting cobia.
