Fished everywhere but where the fish were today. North Hole, some #s inside of there, 15 miles east of there, The Needle, etc… Caught the usual suspects: bsb, b-liners, etc… No groupa or snappa. Had the marks and bottom but the sharks were out of control. Little ones, not even a nasty tiger or something fun. Caught them on live cigars, frozen cigars, lost 2 butterfly jigs to them and landed a few, and Omar even landed one on a double sabiki meant for a b-liner. Very noticable thermocline everywhere I fished @ about 40’. The fish were there just not on my hook. Maybe I need some lessons from the boys up north…

Not the report I expected but at least you dont sugar coat it. Still better than our trip, we decided we were too busy at work to go and kicked ourselves in the arse for not going.
