shark tooth island?

has anyone heard of shark tooth island? I am told it is where the rantowles creek meets the stono…

does anyone know the specifics of this location? how do i access it, it is kayak accessible? Decent fishing? IS it a hard paddle?

Any additional info you can help with would be great. i am thinking about taking my brother out there tomorrow for a day trip who is visiting from atlanta and tomorrow is his last day…

I used to take the kids to a little island we called shark tooth island in the opposite direction. We put in at Limehouse and headed towards Charleston, just a few bends up the river. Not sure if you’d want to paddle that far but doable with the tide and wind kept in mind. It is directly across the river from Ross Marine. It’s very small and best at low tide. Always found sharks teeth, along with a few fish while the kids were looking. Only problem was anchoring, constant boat traffic and wakes, so watch how you leave the boat or kayak.
