since the offshore forecast stinks thanks to alberto, i want to catch some sharks in the harbor just to mess around with some of this new gear. Need some advice and how to’s since i have never tried.
Hopefully the rain will hold off Monday and Tuesday to allow me to do so.
Any chances of cobia in the harbor?
Thanks for the help

don’t think targeting cobia in the harbor will get you anywhere. sharks should be everywhere though- cast net some menhaden and you’re most of the way there. if you can, anchor near the jetties (but over sand is fine) and put some bottom rigs down. if you’re just looking for fish to pull some drag, you’ll find sharks, rays, and some reds that way.
maybe you’re out there now- east wind doesn’t look too bad at all for a 197… tomorrow looks really good too!
