Any places to fish out a yak that are relatively close to a landing for sharks such as black tips, bonnetheads, etc… ?

Went out today to Hamlin sound and dewees inlet, did ok on cut mullet. Caught a bunch of tiny sharp nose and black tips, then hooked up on something I couldn’t turn a she popped me off! Think I’m gonna just stick to reds and trout.
