Anyone got on any sharks in the Harbour yet? My kids are exited about shark fishing again this year. We pulled some serious face last year during the Atlantic Sharpnose run.
Caught a 3.5 foot shark at the grillage Thursday afternoon. Not sure what kind but I know it wasn’t a bonnethead…
I boated 6 sharpnose and lost a 7th at stono yesterday. All on chunks of herring and one on a live whiting. I think menhaden or mullet would work equally well.
Thanks! Sounds like there comin in. Menhaden on the bottom in 25 to 30 anywhere in the Harbour with some depth you can tear em up if you chum em in. Once they get on your chum you will get tired of catching them. I usually just get 1 big net of hadens and start cutting and chucking until you start to chatch. Low tech fun for the kids and adults!

Buddy of mine caught two in the surf last night and I got a 6’3" sand tiger. I also caught a nice black tip Friday night at the beach and missed a couple.
