Decided to tackle the 'heads after work yesterday and the bite was on. Fished from 4:30 until 7:30, right through the 5:30 low. As usual, the bite got hot right after the tide turned.
After picking up a couple little 8" lambs the muttons took over, with 4 fish over 20" and a couple weighing 7 lbs. Lost a few to the piling dance, but who can blame them?
Bait was fiddlers, H2O temp was 84, water clarity was so-so with about 8-10" of vis.
Ended the evening with 11 'heads, all fish were tagged and released.
Sorry I don’t have more pics, but here’s one of the 7 pounders.
