I fish for sheeps all the time and have gathered a collection of odd balled ones over the years. Missing fins, no teeth, sway backs etc,its been a while since i got one that aint like the rest til today,i named this one …Eddie Money… sort of talks from the side of his mouth,

Wow, that guy has some issues lol. Kinda looks like Gonzo.

Saying “I am offended” is telling everyone else that you cannot control your own emotions, and thus you need everyone else to do it for you.

What’s the best time of year to catch sheeps in or around Charleston? I am not talking about reefs or jetties either, a little closer in.

I have found that they congregate at the jetties in November and December on their way offshore and return en masse in the spring to the inshore haunts. That being said, I’ve never fished a lot for them inshore, Michael and others are far more qualified than I am to answer that…

we catch them all year… but the late fall to early winter is the best time for me. If the water temps dont drop to the 40’s, the bite will stay good all winter, but if it gets real cold, jan - mar can be really tough to get them to bite

That’s good to know. I thought they moved out to the reefs during the winter. Do the bigger sheeps stick around too?

Thanks
